This felted wool collar is something truly special — handmade using my own original felting technique that I developed to recreate the soft, curly texture of Karakul lamb fleece (also known as baby lamb fur). The result is a plush, voluminous collar that looks like fur but is made entirely from wool.
It’s soft, sculptural, and full of character, a statement piece that brings both warmth and texture to your outfit. Each collar is fully lined with natural linen for comfort and finished with a matching linen ribbon tie, making it breathable, beautiful, and easy to wear.

Sustainable natural materials
Wool is one of the most sustainable materials natures offers: renewable, insulating, breathable, and 100% biodegradable. It’s long lasting and low impact, making it a perfect match for slow fashion. Linen, too, is a zero-waste fibber that softens with time and use — a natural choice for both lining and ribbons.
Old craft, new life
At studio stale, I’m passionate about reviving traditional techniques and reimagining them for modern life. This collar is crafted slowly, using a felting method I’ve developed myself, rooted in heritage, but completely unique to my hands and process. It’s one of a kind, just like the person who wears it.
